The talented 25-year-old Gozitan singer stole the spotlight with her electrifying performance of “Loop” at the Malta finals, clinching a whopping 102 points and securing her spot to represent the country in Malmö, Sweden, this May.

This year’s competition was certainly fierce! Matt Blxck’s “Banana” gave Sarah a run for her money, earning 80 points and briefly stealing the spotlight. And let’s not forget Ryan Hili, whose song “Karma” brought its own unique style to the stage, gaining him 71 points. But in the end, Sarah emerged victorious, winning over both the judges and the audience with her fantastic talent and infectious charm.

Twelve talented singers competed for the top spot. In a historic move for the festival, participants showcased their skills through self-produced music videos, with the help of PBS. On the final night, Gretatude clinched the award for the best music video, marking a memorable achievement. Additionally, Lisa Gauci was honoured with the Best Newcomer award, adding a touch of excitement to the evening.

Since then, she’s honed her craft and gained fans wherever she goes. Last year, she graced the Eurovision stage with “Heaven,” this year, she’s back and better than ever, ready to take on the famous song contest with her music. The high energy pop song “Loop” was written by Kevin Lee, Leire Gotxi Angel, Michael Joe Cini, Sarah Bonnici, and Sebastian Pritchard-James.

So, what can we expect from Sarah in Malmö? More energy, more fun, and incredible staging, that’s for sure! Whether you’re a die-hard Eurovision fan or just looking for good vibes, Sarah Bonnici is the name to remember!
