Join British chef and TV presenter Ainsley Harriot on a magical journey spanning five captivating episodes on ITV1  as he immerses himself in Malta’s irresistible cuisine and vibrant culture. From spellbinding sights to enchanting scenery, each episode promises a delightful blend of delicious food and mesmerising experiences.

During the first episode which debuted yesterday, Ainsley kicks off his Maltese adventure right in the heart of Valletta, the capital city. Teaming up with historian Liam, they hit the harbour for a tour, digging into why Malta’s such a cultural melting pot and how that affects its cuisine.

Ainsley then hits the streets, soaking up the café culture and grabbing some sweet Arabic-influenced treats from the stalls.

While checking out different historical sights, he pops into a church to give bell ringing a shot. Then, he makes his way to a top-notch eatery to see what Chef Jonathan’s cooking up with a modern twist on a classic Maltese dish. And of course, he swings by a local butcher to get the inside scoop on Maltese sausage.

All along the way, Ainsley’s cooking up dishes inspired by his adventures, bringing a taste of Malta to the table.
