The event was officially launched on 6 February at a press conference attended by esteemed guests including Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo, Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) Chairman Gavin Gulia, MTA CEO Carlo Micallef, and BBC Concert Orchestra’s Artistic Director Anthony Cherry.
