Paper to Take Centre Stage at Esplora's Carnival Festival This Weekend

Esplora Karta Festa

Esplora is gearing up for Malta’s Carnival with their exciting event, Karta Festa, happening from Saturday 10 February to Wednesday 14 February, running from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

Karta Festa promises to be a blast, where paper becomes the star of the show. Visitors can expect hands-on activities and lots of playful exploration. It’s all about turning the ordinary into something extraordinary!

At Karta Festa, folks can dive into the world of tinkering and making, while also learning about the science behind traditional crafts. From playful paper explorations to hands-on upcycling, DIY paper-making and papier-mâché to even large-scale paper constructions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

But it’s not just about the fun. Karta Festa has a deeper message, promoting the art of upcycling and sustainability. Visitors will get to learn how to transform old paper into new, useful items, reducing waste and getting creative at the same time.

During the event, you can join in on activities like fixing up Esplora’s Carnival float, designing your own piece for the float, or even coding to guide your dance group to designated stops for a lively dancing parade! Plus, there’s face painting and a colourful bubble show to keep everyone entertained.

So, if you’re looking for a fun-filled Carnival experience with a touch of creativity and sustainability, Esplora’s Karta Festa is the place to be!
