Eden Cinemas has announced the implementation of a new feature that will completely transform the movie-going experience locally. By replacing all of the current projectors with state-of-the-art laser technology, the cinema promises visitors an immersive cinematic experience unlike anything they have ever experienced before.

Eden Cinemas hopes to revolutionise the way people view and enjoy films by introducing this newer technology. The new laser projectors will treat cinemagoers to unparalleled clarity, crisper images, and brilliant colours. Moreover, they have a larger colour gamut, striking contrasts, laser precision that guarantees razor-sharp images, and unfluctuating brightness levels throughout the whole movie.

On top of enhancing the cinema experience, Eden Cinemas is also making notable progress towards energy efficiency. The projectors will save an estimated 127,312kw of energy a year between the projectors and the air conditioning requirements. What’s more, laser projectors also need less maintenance and do not utilise dangerous elements like mercury, which is sometimes included in xenon.

As an energy-efficient alternative to conventional xenon light projectors, laser technology dramatically lowers the carbon footprint of the movie theatre. Even with just the most recent five projectors purchased, Eden Cinemas has already made notable progress towards energy savings.
