Malta women’s football star Haley Bugeja notched one of Inter’s goals during their impressive 6-2 victory against Pomigliano in Sunday’s Serie A Femminile match.

Joining Inter this season, the 19-year old striker found the net in the 11th minute with a close-range strike, doubling her team’s lead.

Having previously played for Sassuolo and Orlando Pride, this marked Bugeja’s second goal for Inter in 12 appearances, with her earlier goal also coming against Pomigliano in the first round encounter.

Haley Bugeja is a Maltese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Italian club Inter Milan of Serie A and the Malta women’s national team.

She has been shortlisted in the Women’s World Best Youth Player U-20 nominees for 2023 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
