Besides being soundproof, the Planetarium dome is equipped with the latest projection technology and a state-of-the-art theatre accommodating 52 reclining seats. Inside the Planetarium building, visitors can also enhance their experience with a little wander around the Universe Exhibition Hall which houses 13 interactive exhibits that relate to the cosmos and Life in Space.
The Planetarium is also equipped with a hearing loop system for the benefit of people using hearing aid devices. This amenity enables hearing aid users to boost their auditory experience inside the Planetarium dome since sound signals are directly picked up by the hearing aid device.
EsploraPlanetarium features several educational and entertaining shows about astronomy, and which are projected on the large dome-shaped screen whereupon stellar, planetary and scenes of various celestial objects appear to move realistically to simulate their motion.
