Franky Attard Joins London’s West End in Mamma Mia!
Maltese rising star Franky Attard has secured a role in Mamma Mia! The Musical on London’s West End, marking a major career achievement just months after completing her studies at Laine Performers College.
Having recently graduated from Laine Theatre Arts last year, Franky made her professional debut in The Nutcracker at The New Vic in Stoke, where she portrayed the character of ‘Marie.’
In Mamma Mia!, Franky will join the ensemble and understudy the character of ‘Ali,’ one of Sophie’s close friends in the show.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Franky said, “I’m overjoyed to be making my West End and Swing debut in Mamma Mia!” She called it a dream come true and expressed deep gratitude for the encouragement and support she’s received throughout her journey.
This accomplishment solidifies Franky’s place on one of the world’s most prestigious theatre stages, representing Malta with pride.
