Team Malta Announced for Second Edition of Malta Invitational Games
The Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) announced the selection of Team Malta for the highly anticipated second edition of the Malta Invitational Games, set to take place this weekend.
The Malta Invitational Games, which will feature 200 athletes from 16 nations competing in Badminton, Taekwondo, Swimming and Waterpolo, will bring together promising young athletes from various disciplines to showcase their talents on home ground.
In keeping with the MOC’s vision of nurturing emerging talent, the selection process was entrusted to the respective federations, ensuring a cohesive alignment with the MOC’s commitment to support and provide development opportunities to youth athletes who demonstrate significant potential.
The Malta Invitational Games offer these young athletes the platform to gain competitive experience, furthering their development and setting the stage for future international success.
With a strong focus on youth development, the MOC continues to foster a generation of athletes dedicated to excellence and embodying the spirit of Maltese sportsmanship.
