Qatar Airways is set to begin operating four weekly flights between Malta and Qatar this July, a move that promises to enhance connectivity and unlock new opportunities for trade, tourism, and cultural exchange. The new route will connect Malta to Doha’s Hamad International Airport, a global hub offering access to 197 destinations across five continents.

This development is expected to boost Malta’s links to emerging tourism markets while also improving travel options for the Maltese diaspora in Australia, where the largest Maltese community abroad resides. The increased connectivity is seen as a key step in fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
