Carnival isn’t just for Valletta, Floriana and Gozo; this year, Ħamrun is reclaiming its place in the spotlight with a vibrant street celebration that promises fun for all ages! On Sunday, 23 February 2025, from 10am to 1pm, Triq il-Kbira will transform into a lively festival of grotesque masks,  spectacular floats and fun activities. 

Bringing a nostalgic touch, the event will also see the long-awaited return of the traditional band parade, reviving a cherished tradition that has been absent for years. As the opening event for Malta’s Carnival festivities, this street party guarantees a morning filled with music, laughter, and dazzling performances.
