Special Bus Services for Isle of MTV Malta 2025
Get ready for an unforgettable night this summer as Isle of MTV Malta returns on 15 July 2025 at the iconic Granaries in Floriana. This free open-air music festival has become one of the biggest events in Europe, drawing tens of thousands of music lovers to the island every year.
Whether you’re visiting Malta for the first time or returning for more, Isle of MTV is the perfect way to experience the island’s youthful spirit and international atmosphere. Past editions have featured global artists, high-energy performances, and a crowd that brings the Granaries to life in a truly unique setting.
To make your night smooth and stress-free, Malta Public Transport is organising special bus services after the concert, all departing from Valletta starting at 23:00. These additional trips will connect you to destinations across the island. Some of the key routes include:
Route S10 to Paola, Isla, Bormla and Kalkara every 30 minutes between 23:00 and 01:00
Route S12 with frequent service to Msida, St Julian’s, Pembroke, Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, Qawra and Buġibba from 23:00 until 01:30
Route S13 to Msida, Gżira, Sliema and St Julian’s running every 10–20 minutes until 02:00
Route S41 heading to St Paul’s Bay, Mellieħa and Ċirkewwa every 15–30 minutes from 23:00 to 01:30
Route S90 to Paola, Fgura and Marsaskala running frequently from 23:05 to 01:10
And many more connecting all corners of Malta including Żabbar, Marsaxlokk, Mosta, Rabat, Dingli, Żurrieq, Siġġiewi, and more.
All Tallinja Card holders can travel on these special services for free. Passengers without a Tallinja Card can purchase a €3 ticket directly from the bus ticket machines onboard. Regular night services will also continue to operate as scheduled.
