Rooftop Summer Series Continues This September
The Rooftop Series Summer Festival continues on Friday 5 September 2025 at 8:00pm, with an open-air concert on the rooftop of the Catholic Institute in Floriana. The evening will feature musicians from the Malta Youth Orchestra together with solo guitarist Karol Aquilina, performing a one-hour programme of classical works in an intimate rooftop setting.
This rare concert brings together a string sextet and solo guitar in a programme that spans Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Charles Camilleri’s Malta Suite (Movements 1–3), and works by Astor Piazzolla and Paco De LucÃa, among others.
