Maltese Short Film Stations of the Cross Shines in Dallas Texas
Maltese short film Stations of the Cross, directed by Aleksa Ristović, is continuing its impressive journey across international stages, this time at CONTENT2025 Christian Media Conference in Dallas, Texas.
Hosted at Capernaum Studios near Dallas, Texas, a location renowned for producing over 170 films, including the first season of the global hit The Chosen, CONTENT2025 stands as one of the most significant gatherings for Christian filmmakers and media creators in the United States.
With its theme ‘Media for Jesus Christ’, the event unites storytellers who share faith through film and media.
Following its recent honours in Hollywood and Washington, Stations of the Cross is now nominated at CONTENT2025 in three prestigious categories:
- Best Storytelling
- Best Cinematography
- Best Overall Short Film
In addition to screenings, director Aleksa Ristović will participate in masterclasses, workshops, interviews, and pitching sessions, crucial opportunities to secure funding and distribution for current and future projects.
Despite working independently without institutional support, Ristović continues to represent Malta internationally, bolstered by encouragement from the Malta Short Film Festival, as well as the steadfast backing of friends and family. His perseverance, creativity, and faith are steadily bringing Maltese cinema greater recognition abroad.
From Los Angeles to Washington, and now Dallas, Ristović’s path reflects not only dedication but also grace.
