Special Bus Services for Aftersun Festival 2025
Global superstar Robbie Williams will be headlining the Aftersun Festival 2025 at the Granaries in Floriana on Wednesday 17 September 2025, joined by Gigi D’Agostino and Aidan. To make it easier for everyone to travel to and from the event, Malta Public Transport will be operating special bus services throughout the night.
Following the success of previous event services this summer, these extra routes will once again help passengers travel safely, conveniently, and free of charge for Tallinja Card holders.
These services, which have proven very popular during other major events this summer, will once again be free of charge for Tallinja Card holders. Passengers without a Tallinja Card may purchase tickets at €3 per trip, directly on board using cash or contactless payments. Regular night routes will also continue to operate according to schedule.
Special services will run from Valletta to several localities across Malta, including Paola, Isla, Bormla, Kalkara, Msida, St Julian’s, Pembroke, Buġibba, Gżira, Sliema, San Ġwann, Għargħur, Birkirkara, Mosta, Mġarr, Mellieħa, Ċirkewwa, Rabat, Dingli, Żebbuġ, Siġġiewi, Luqa, Kirkop, Safi, Żurrieq, Mqabba, Qrendi, Gudja, Għaxaq, Birżebbuġa, Marsaxlokk, Marsaskala, Żabbar and Xgħajra. Departure times will be staggered between 23:05 and 00:55 to cater for the end of the concert, with some routes operating every 10 minutes.
Passengers are requested to proceed to the departure area promptly once the event is over to avoid missing their service.
