The Malta Tourism Authority has been named as the Best Tourism Board in Europe, picking up a gold and two silver, for the Best Destination in the Mediterranean and another for the the Best Travel Agency Academy Programme, at the 2021 Travvy Awards

160,000 tourists travel to Malta in September

Arrivals in September 2021 were a three times higher than in September of last year, according to official figures. In fact, no less than 159,304 tourists arrived on the island in the month, compared to 50,359 in September last year, which leads us to believe that we are heading, slowly but surely, towards a pre-COVID situation

Malta is welcoming maiden flights from Genoa, Sofia and Brindisi

The Malta International Airport is welcoming three inaugural flights from Brindisi and Genoa in Italy and Sofia in Bulgaria. The flights, which will be operated by Ryanair until October, include bi-weekly flights to Brindisi, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Genoa on the same days and Sofia on Mondays and Fridays
