The Isle of MTV event, which included worldwide performers including One Republic, Alesso, Tom Grennan, Mimi Webb, and Delta Goodrem, drew over 30,000 concertgoers to Floriana’s Granaries. In addition to stressing the commitment to provide additional musical and cultural attractions for sustainable tourism in Malta, the tourism minister expressed gratitude for the event’s success. The festival is produced in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority and is the biggest free event in Europe. Millions of music lovers across the world witnessed Malta through MTV broadcasts in more than 150 countries.
