Date Art Cafe kicks off November with five nights of live music and market
Tonight, DATE Art Cafe in Cospicua will be starting off November with 5 consecutive nights of live music and more! Overlooking the marina, this cosy outdoor spot has a relaxing setting and outdoor seating making for a refreshingly lovely atmosphere.
Tonight, Sue and Eric, otherwise known as Suzanne and Eric Wadge, will kick off the five-day event with some acoustic jazz. Then, tomorrow, get ready for beloved singer Vince Buhagiar, known for representing Malta in the 1997 Eurovision. Next, on Friday 3 November, guitarist-vocalist duo Aldo & Diane will take the stage, bringing you both hits and charm. Last but not least, spend your Saturday night enjoying the musical stylings of VinÃcius Santin. This spectrum of diverse artists promises something for everybody!
Now, we did say 5 nights. On Sunday, the cafe will be taking a little break from the music for a unique event. Starting as early as 10 am, they’ll be hosting Boutique & Pre Loved Clothing Markets, a collaborative event by FEM. Community and the Bormla Local Council in support of the NGO Female Entrepreneurs Malta. There will be multiple female-run stalls selling classy yet authentic and sustainable products, including tote bags, jewellery, dot paintings, natural soaps, and ofcourse clothes – you can even find a kimono!
If you have a piece of clothing you’re ready to part with, you can donate them to the Love Me Twice – Charity & Thrift Shop front (run by Female Entrepreneurs Malta) on the day itself! It’s not only a great opportunity to discover some fashionable thrifted pieces, but it contributes to the promotion of female-run businesses in Malta.
The four nights of music begin at 7:30 pm and ended at 11 pm, while the Sunday’s market will last from 10 am to 4 pm. Whether you’re looking for a delicious meal or a few drinks, DATE Art Cafe have got you covered with their varied menu. Between the entertainment, the ambience, and the food, it’s the perfect place to take your loved ones on a night out.
