In 2023, Red Electric kept their winning streak alive, dropping a new EP, rocking local and international gigs, and snagging an opening slot for Robbie Williams. Despite their busy schedules, they stayed true to their songwriting craft. ‘Time Flies’, which was written by the band members themselves, is one of the many anticipated tracks from them this year.

The song, inspired by British icons like The Cure and modern artists like Lewis Capaldi, explores the passage of time in the presence of loved ones. Produced at Peter’s Railway Studios, it draws sonic inspiration from classics like The Cure’s ‘Friday I’m in Love’. Pete’s 12-string guitar riff, Aleandro’s harmonies, and Ivan’s bass lines create a sound reminiscent of Keane and Coldplay.
