Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum is under the management of Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti, a non-profit heritage foundation dedicated to promoting awareness of our heritage through various avenues, including museums, publications, exhibitions, and events.

Palazzo Falson stands as the second oldest structure in Mdina, with parts dating back to the 13th century. Purchased by Olof Frederick Gollcher OBE (1889–1962) in 1927, the Palazzo became a focal point for preserving the cultural heritage of the islands. Gollcher, an avid collector of art, desired to share his treasures with the public, leading to the establishment of the museum following his wishes outlined in his will. After a rigorous five-year restoration process, the Palazzo opened its doors to the public in May 2007 and quickly became one of Malta’s premier cultural attractions.
