Oh My Malta sits down with the dynamite 2026 Winter Olympic hopeful Shannon Galea representing our beautiful Malta in Bobsleigh & Skeleton in Italy. With the support of the Maltese Olympic Committee, she is now into her fourth season competing internationally. In fact, she is the first Maltese to compete on the world stage for these events!

Shannon is well on track to reaching Olympic dreams as she took third overall in 2023 at the North American Cup. For this, she became Malta’s first ice sport athlete to stand on the podium. As she stands currently, she is 39^th in the world. This past November she twice placed 7^th in heats for the North American Cup.
