Christina Darmanin’s latest solo exhibition, Love X Light, is a powerful reflection on the enduring presence of light in our lives, no matter the challenges we face. The theme of the exhibition is inspired by the message, “There is always light.” It speaks of restoration, elevation, and the healing power of light – both the natural light of the sun and the divine light of God’s love and word.

After a challenging year, Christina felt compelled to share her personal journey of healing and hope. She embraced the light of the sun and the comfort of God’s word, which have been sources of strength, elevation, and inspiration through difficult moments. This exhibition marks her gratitude for the light that has guided her through hardship, and her desire to share that light with others.

Through vibrant, expressive works, Christina invites viewers to reflect on the transformative power of light in their own lives. Her art suggests that while we may face trials and dark moments, the light—both spiritual and physical—offers the possibility of healing, restoration, and renewal. As Christina puts it, “To overcome and be a light, one must endure burning, as though consuming the sun itself. While impossible in the physical sense, this is attainable spiritually.”
