One day, the lion captures the mouse and, instead of devouring it, chooses to spare its life. The grateful mouse scurries away, promising to return the favour one day. The lion, amused by the idea that such a small creature could ever help him, dismisses the notion. However, fate has other plans. When the lion is later ensnared in a hunter’s trap, it is the very same mouse that comes to his rescue. Using its tiny teeth, the mouse gnaws through the ropes, freeing the lion and proving that even the smallest of creatures can make a difference.
