Local triathlete Fabio Spiteri to cycle around Sicily’s coastline in aid of animal charities

Triathlete and animal lover Fabio Spiteri will take on the challenge on the 14 September 

Maltese runner turned triathlete Fabio Spiteri holds Malta’s national triple ironman record. 

Last year Spiteri completed a 1,000 kilometre cycle around Sicily in just 56 hours, 16 hours faster than his previous personal record and the third-fastest in history.

On the 14th of September, the athlete and animal lover will set off on his challenge to cycle 1000km along Sicily’s coastline without stopping for 48 hours. 

The aim is to raise €50,000 to distribute among 18 local animal shelters and 1 in Canicatti in Sicily.
