Pride month is in full swing and today is packed like any other day of the month! OhMyMalta will be listing all the events that will take place today for your convenience.
17:00-21:00 – Free Community HIV Testing
In collaboration with the GU Clinic, HIV Malta, and Sexual Health Malta, Checkpoint Malta will host a series of community-led HIV testing clinics around Malta and Gozo. Tests are quick, confidential, and free!
Our Pride Month opening test date is September 6, 2022 at the Volunteer Center in Valletta. A Gozo session will take place at the JAM Project in Victoria, Gozo, on September 15, 2022. Testing sessions will only be offered by appointment.

19:00 – 20:45 – Pride 22 – Community Dialogue
There is an invitation to this year’s community discussion, which is a part of Malta Pride Week and will be hosted by Dr. Angele Deguara. This is a chance for the many points of intersection in the community to talk about and fix the myriad issues that are now afflicting the island. Everyone will have the chance to converse in a safe environment rather than in a panel debate. 19:00 – 21:00 – LGBTIQ+ Speed Dating & Networking
A face-to-face speed-dating and networking event for LGBTIQ individuals is being hosted by GayguideMalta.com in collaboration with ARC. All sexes and sexual orientations are welcomed. You may or may not find someone you like, but even if you don’t discover your soul mate, you will find some new amazing friends to hang out with!
