Young weightlifter Tenisia Thornton wins big at European Small Nations Championship and the Cyprus Junior International Open.

Apart from being crowned Best Female Athlete, the weightlifter also took home gold medals and awards for International Junior Open and Women Doubles, together with Roberta Tabone.

The men’s team, composed of Anton Micallef, Shaun Ciantar and Rylee Borg, claimed third place in the European Small Nations Championship. 

The mixed team finished in third place, with only one point behind Iceland.
