The play delves into Katherine Gerard’s complex journey as she unexpectedly visits her late son’s partner, Cal, two decades after his death from AIDS. Set in New York, Cal now lives with his husband, Will, and their young son. Katherine grapples with societal changes and attempts to mend strained relationships while confronting her own past.

Under the direction of Tyrone Grima, the talented cast includes Polly March, Edward Caruana Galizia, David Chircop, and Ben Zammit Marmarà. ‘Mothers and Sons’ offers audiences an introspective look at acceptance, the impact of AIDS, and bridging generational gaps within the gay community.
