Valletta Pageant of the Seas Happening This Saturday

This Saturday, the Grand Harbour transforms into an oceanic wonderland for the fifth edition of the Valletta Pageant of the Seas

This year’s theme, ‘Save the Sea’, plunges into the critical issue of marine conservation, highlighting the threats of plastic and microplastic pollution. So, if you love the sea and hate plastic, this one’s for you!

Schedule of events:

  • 9pm: Kick off the night with a show featuring traditional dgħajjes tal-pass and regatta boats. Think of it as a nautical ballet, but with cooler boats.
  • Light projection show: Be mesmerised by an animated narrative paired with an original score by the maestro Cyprian Cassar. Lights, animation, music – it’s the perfect trio.
  • Water fountain extravaganza: Courtesy of Aquatique Show, known for their jaw-dropping displays at major events like the Paris Olympics. Expect water, movement, and rhythm that would make Poseidon proud.
  • Grand fireworks finale: Because no grand event is complete without fireworks. Prepare to have your night sky lit up in spectacular fashion.

Where to watch: The best views are from Quarry Wharf, Valletta, and the surrounding areas.

Come for the culture, stay for the sea – let’s make waves together!
