Malta's Finest Kickboxers Compete for National and European Titles This Friday

On Friday, 13 September, the Malta Kickboxing Association (MKBA) will host the K1 Nationals at Montekristo Estate, Ħal Farruġ.

This highly anticipated event will feature 62 fighters competing across 14 different categories and age groups, representing kickboxing and Muay Thai clubs from across Malta. Victorious fighters will earn the opportunity to represent Malta as part of the national team at the upcoming ISKA World Championship in Vienna this October.

In addition to the national competitions, the event will showcase three main fights for two prestigious titles in Muay Thai and Kickboxing: the WBC Mediterranean title and the ISKA Amateur K1 European title.

Given the significance of the event, MKBA has invited Mr. Paul Nicholls, the ISKA European Rules Director, to oversee judging and refereeing throughout the competition. Mr. Paul Hennesey, President of ISKA Europe, will also be in attendance as a special guest, highlighting the importance of this momentous occasion for Maltese kickboxing.
