Valletta, Malta’s Grand Celebration

Malta’s capital Valletta is once again hosting the nation’s official New Year’s Eve celebrations, and the 2025 edition is set to be the biggest yet. Taking centre stage in Pjazza San Ġorġ, this year’s event boasts an incredible line-up of local talent, including household names Ira Losco, Red Electric, and Shaun Farrugia, alongside 90’s international dance music icon CASCADA. Known for chart-topping hits such as Every Time We Touch and Evacuate the Dancefloor, CASCADA will certainly keep the crowd energised and dancing well into the night.

Organised by the Valletta Cultural Agency (VCA) in collaboration with the Ministry for National Heritage, the Arts, and Local Government, this grand event is expected to draw a crowd of over 50,000 people. And with good reason, the evening also promises an exciting mix of performances from Kevin Paul, DJs Koroma, Miggy, and D-Rey, as well as a breathtaking fireworks display over the Grand Harbour to mark the stroke of midnight.

Hosting the festivities will be a lively team of local presenters including Dorianne Mamo, Taryn Mamo Cefai, Owen Bonnici, and Keane Cutajar. What’s more, the celebrations will be broadcast live on Maltese television, allowing everyone to soak up the atmosphere even if they can’t attend in person.
