Gozo Channel will temporarily pause its ferry operations between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. This brief hiatus allows the hardworking crew a well-deserved opportunity to enjoy lunch with their families on these special holidays.

Here’s what this means for travellers:

• The last ferry from Mġarr will depart at 11:30 am, while the final departure from Ċirkewwa will be at 12:00 pm.
• Afternoon trips will resume promptly at 3:00 pm from Mġarr and 3:15 pm from Ċirkewwa.

The following trips will not operate during the break:

• From Mġarr to Ċirkewwa: 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:15 pm, and 2:30 pm.
• From Ċirkewwa to Mġarr: 12:15 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:15 pm, 1:30 pm, 1:45 pm, 2:15 pm, 2:45 pm, and 3:00 pm.
