Maltese Producer Panza Joins Forces with [Ex] da Bass

Latvian DJ and producer [Ex] da Bass, well-known in Latvia and across Europe, has teamed up with Maltese dance music producer Panza for a fresh, modern take on the 1992 club anthem “It’s A Fine Day” by British electronic group Opus III.

This new cover has already been making waves on Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming platforms, catching the attention of both fans and music professionals alike.

“While this iconic club classic has seen many reinterpretations over the years, I truly believe our version — infused with pulsating Afro House rhythms stands out. And the vocals! Can you believe this amazing voice belongs to a Latvian singer, Paula Pūpola? Many listeners have said her voice closely resembles that of Kirsty Hawkshaw, who originally performed the track in 1992. Paula, who is currently studying at the Latvian Academy of Music, truly shines in this version. Even the legendary Opus III vocalist herself gave it a thumbs up!” shares [Ex] da Bass.

The collaboration between Latvia and Malta brings a fresh, international vibe to the Maltese dance music scene, and Panza’s signature touch adds an extra layer of energy that fans are sure to love.

The track is available in both radio edit and extended mix versions and can now be streamed worldwide on Spotify, YouTube, and all major platforms.
