Lorenzo Agius’s A-List Portraits Take Over Corinthia London in New Exhibition

raming the Iconic, a striking new installation by acclaimed British-Maltese portrait photographer Lorenzo Agius, is now on view at Corinthia London. Open throughout the 2026 BAFTA Awards season, the exhibition transforms the hotel’s grand public spaces into an immersive gallery, featuring large-scale, suspended portraits of some of the most recognisable faces in modern cinema.

Best known for creating the era-defining campaign for Trainspotting, Agius has spent over three decades capturing the charisma, eccentricity and humanity of cultural icons. The exhibition brings together an extraordinary line-up including Ewan McGregor, Helena Bonham Carter, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, Clive Owen and Kate Winslet, alongside American screen legends such as Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Will Smith, Madonna and Meryl Streep.

Curated by Professor Charlene Vella of the University of Malta, LOOK AT ME – Framing the Iconic presents Agius’s most celebrated images within a carefully considered spatial experience. Monumental prints appear to “float” through Corinthia London’s lobbies and corridors, inviting guests to encounter these familiar faces in an unexpectedly intimate and contemplative setting.

Presented in collaboration with the Maltese High Commission in London and Visit Malta, the exhibition celebrates the international reach of Maltese creativity while reflecting Corinthia’s own Maltese heritage. As Malta continues to establish itself as a key filming destination, the installation highlights the country’s ongoing dialogue with global cinema and visual culture.

“Lorenzo Agius has captured the faces that have defined an era,” says Professor Vella. “His images are timeless, and this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience them in a setting that brings together Maltese craftsmanship, British creativity and cinematic heritage.”
