AIDAN Wraps Up 12 Country Promotional Tour Ahead of Eurovision
AIDAN has officially finished an extensive international promotional tour, having visited 12 different countries in the buildup to the Eurovision Song Contest.
The tour, which marked the highest number of promotional stops ever undertaken by a Maltese artist as part of a Eurovision campaign, spanned a wide range of territories including Australia, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, the United Kingdom, San Marino, and Lithuania. These visits provided a valuable platform to showcase his music to international audiences while building meaningful connections with fans across multiple regions.
The final leg of the tour included a visit to Romania, followed by a performance at the London Eurovision Party. Reflecting on the experience, AIDAN shared:
“It has been a truly special experience to meet so many of this year’s participants and to spend time with fans from all over the world. The warm welcome I received everywhere was incredible, and it has been a pleasure to share my music with so many people who love the contest as much as I do. We are now working on an elevated staging for ‘Bella’ in Vienna. I have a great team behind me, and I can’t wait to share more details soon.”
This year also marks the return of a 50/50 voting split in the semi-finals, with results determined equally by professional juries and public televoting. Countries eligible to vote in the second semi-final include Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, Romania, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the pre-qualified nations of Austria (host country), France, and the United Kingdom. As per the rules, Malta will not be able to vote for its own entry.
With the promotional tour now concluded, attention turns to final preparations as the Maltese delegation gears up to travel to Vienna in less than 12 days. Malta will compete in the second semi-final on 14 May, where AIDAN will perform his song ‘Bella’ in the 14th position of the live broadcast.
