Local Personalities Donning Charles&Ron at The Malta Fashion Awards
The Malta Fashion Awards celebrated creativity, style and cultural heritage on 10 July at the Biskuttin Gardens and Pjazza Tritoni in Valletta.
This year also marked the 25th anniversary of the Malta Fashion Awards, a dream and vision set in motion by Adrian J. Mizzi that helped to give birth and continues to fuel the local fashion scene and industry.
Local fashion designers and pioneers Charles & Ron took home the Icons Award for contribution to fashion design.
The fashion duo took to social media to express their gratitude:Â
” We are truly grateful for the award we received last night at the Malta Fashion Week & Fashion Awards final night! The award is that of ICON AWARDS for contribution to fashion design, a title which we are truly honoured to have achieved. A special thanks goes to Adrian Mizzi & Elaine Galea.
