Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘Oliver!’ is a top musical, well-known by many! In addition to earning numerous Tony Awards and an Academy Award for its film adaptation, the musical boasts an award-winning soundtrack that includes hits like ‘Where is Love?’, ‘I’d Do Anything’, ‘Consider Yourself’, ‘Food Glorious Food’, and ‘Who Will Buy?’ and ‘Oom-Pah-Pah’. Set in Victorian London, ‘Oliver!’ tells the tale of a young orphan who stumbles into the murky underground and encounters a myriad of fascinating people in his quest for love.

The titular character of Oliver will be played by Matthias Zarb and Jamie Sciberras. Joining him in the cast are Dorothy Bezzina who plays Nancy, Thomas Camilleri as Fagin, Mikhail Basmadjian as Bill Sikes, Cliff Zammit Stevens playing Mr. Bumble, Kate Fenech Field as Widow Corney, Paul Portelli as Mr. Sowerberry and Katherine Brown as Mrs. Sowerberry.

This sizable cast includes several young actors playing a variety of parts, including Oliver and the Artful Dodger. Moreover, the highly skilled creative team working on this production is composed of stage designer Romualdo Moretti, costume designer Simona Mamo, choreographer Valerie Burke, director Anthony Bezzina, and musical director Kris Spiteri.
