Malta to Shine at Dance Star Competition in Poreč, Croatia!
Dance Project Studios is set to make a significant impact at this year’s world-famous Dance Star Competition in Poreč, Croatia, from 20-27 May 2024. With over 30 choreographies qualifying for the event, they will join more than 40,000 dancers from around the globe in this massive celebration of dance.
Founded in 2007 by Kristina Ann Schranz and Matthew Bianco, Dance Project Studios, located in Pembroke, has earned a stellar reputation across Europe for its innovative and impressive choreographies. This year, the studio is bringing more dancers to the Dance Star competition than ever before. Under the expert guidance of Kristina and her exceptional team of instructors, over thirty choreographies have advanced through the qualifiers. The studio’s representation at Dance Star will include individual and team performances in jazz, hip hop, acro, ballet, tap, and several solo acts.
Dance Project Studios offers a wide variety of dance styles in their weekly classes, including ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, acrobatic dance, hip hop, street, contemporary, Spanish, musical theatre, funk, pointe, and even adult classes.
The mission of Dance Project Studios is to revolutionise performance education and cultural boundaries by fostering the philosophy that dance is for everyone, without discrimination in terms of gender, ability, age, or experience. As a well-established school, they offer classes at all levels, allowing students as young as two years old to develop from beginners to professionals. All that is required from a student is motivation and a passion for the performing arts.
