Liam Payne, former member of the world-renowned boy band One Direction, has tragically passed away at the age of 31. The singer reportedly fell from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Payne gained global fame as part of One Direction, formed on the talent show The X Factor, alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

Following a tremendous outpouring of grief from fans around the globe, a special memorial event has been organised in Malta to give fans a space to come together and pay tribute to the late Liam Payne.

Fans attending the Valletta memorial are encouraged to bring personal tributes such as flowers, candles, posters, fan art, letters, photos, or bracelets, in memory of the beloved singer. 

The singer’s sudden death has left both fans and celebrities in shock. Social media platforms were flooded with tributes, as Payne’s friends and fellow musicians shared their sorrow and memories of the late star.
