Spazju Kreattiv continues its ŻiguŻajg Season 2024-2025, offering a programme featuring over ten projects and collaborations with 35 talented artists. This season promises a year-long celebration of creativity, discovery, and artistic expression, immersing children, families, and schools in unforgettable experiences. Building on the resounding success of previous editions, ŻiguŻajg continues to inspire young minds through a carefully curated mix of performances, workshops, and interactive activities designed to captivate and educate audiences of all ages.

This year, ŻiguŻajg invites children to embark on imaginative journeys through theatre, cinema, and art. The Young Cavaliers Summer Theatre Programme is a pioneering six-week initiative that introduces aspiring performers aged seven and above to the art of storytelling, acting, and stagecraft. This immersive experience not only nurtures confidence but also fosters lasting friendships, making theatre a joyful and transformative adventure. Meanwhile, the revamped Kids Dig Science series offers a unique blend of science and art, using puppetry and live performances to explore fascinating topics such as dinosaurs, robotics, and genetics. With its signature fusion of humour and education, ŻiguŻajg ensures a fun-filled, enlightening experience for young minds.

Inclusivity lies at the heart of ŻiguŻajg, exemplified by this season’s TechRail production. Designed specifically for neurodivergent audiences, this multi-sensory theatre experience blends technology, storytelling, and sensory engagement to create a safe and magical space for children of all abilities. Other highlights include the international show Be Kind, an enchanting introduction to acrobatics and juggling for babies, and Chasing Rainbows, a vibrant, interactive performance for toddlers, returning due to popular demand.

The season’s film programme presents a selection of enchanting stories on the big screen, carefully curated for children and their families to enjoy together. These films—centered on themes of bravery, friendship, and adventure—are sure to ignite imaginations and create joyful, shared moments. Additionally, hands-on workshops, such as papier-mâché mask-making and the ŻiguŻajg Art Jam – Summer Bootcamp, offer children the chance to create, collaborate, and take home their very own artistic masterpieces.

ŻiguŻajg continues to empower children with the tools to explore their imagination, challenge perspectives, and engage meaningfully with the world around them. Interactive performances such as the critically acclaimed Kish Kush encourage dialogue on cultural diversity and empathy, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy and be inspired by throughout the year.
