Kirkop Music Festival Returns This June with a Night Full of Live Music

Calling all Queen fans! Saturday 21st June 2025 is going to be one for the books! The Kirkop Music Festival is making its big return, and it’s shaping up to be an absolute belter of a night, great tunes, good vibes, and even better company.

The festival kicks off from 8 PM at Triq taż-Żebbiegħ in Ħal Kirkop, and entry is completely free. More importantly, it’s all in support of ALS Malta, so while you’re enjoying the music, you’re also helping to fund a vital cause.

Now for the line-up. Topping the bill is Flash, A Tribute to Queen, one of the UK’s leading Queen tribute acts. Known for their incredible attention to detail, compelling vocals, and full-throttle performances, they seriously channel the iconic band in every way possible. Expect all the big hits, from Radio Ga Ga to Somebody to Love, performed with the kind of passion that would make Freddie proud. Even the BBC stated, “It’s as close as it gets!”

Also taking the stage is Sarah Bonnici, a rising star in Malta’s music scene with a voice to match. Known for her strong vocals and mesmerising stage presence, Sarah has built a loyal following through a mix of original tracks and incredible live performances. Backed by her full band, she brings energy and soul by the bucketload, and she’s quickly becoming one of the island’s most exciting live acts.

Once the live sets wrap up, the night shifts into party mode with Chris Funkytown and DJ Ryan Spiteri on deck. You can expect crowd-pleasers, throwbacks, and plenty of big summer tunes to keep things moving well into the evening.

It’s a community affair with the feel of a proper night out, local talent, international stars, and an atmosphere that’s all about having a good time and giving back. So call up your friends, make a plan for the 21st, and head over to Kirkop for a cracking summer out night in Malta.
