Could we be in for some rain, thunder and lightning this weekend?
Is our long, Maltese summer finally coming to an end? This weekends’ weather forecast certainly seems to imply so.
We may be, again, facing a weekend of strong winds, diminished UV index (i.e. you can forget about getting your tan on!), showers and possibly even some thunder.
According to Malta Weather: “Rain showers that may be thundery at times are possible across Malta and Gozo this coming weekend as another area of instability moves across the central Mediterranean.”

No need to grab those wooly socks and scarves just yet though, temperatures are still expected to be as high as 32 degrees.
As is Malta’s nature, the dreary forecast is subject to change so keep an eye out for updates… you may be able to have that one last dip in the sea if you’re lucky.
