The final six heading into X factor semi-finals

Last night, the top eight acts of the third season of the X Factor Malta, fought tooth and nail for a spot in the semi-finals next week and the tension, as well as the heat is rising to unprecedented levels, even in the middle of winter!

The eight hopefuls faced a live audience for during the third live show yesterday, as well as the four judges and mentors, Ira Losco, Howard Keith Debono, Ivan Grech and Philippa Naudi.

The theme of the night was soundtracks and all eight acts brought their A-Game. In spite of this however, Audrienne and Kevin Paul were eliminated. Audrienne was mentored by Ira Losco and was eliminated first, due to receiving the least votes from the public of all acts. Kevin Paul then went head-to-head in a sing-off with Timea Farr, who again found herself in the bottom three. Ira Losco, Philippa Naudi and Ivan Grech all voted for Timea to remain in the competition, thus sending Kevin Paul home.
