Golden girl Emma Cutajar teams up with hip hop artist Ben Miller
Many of us remember the awe-inspiring, now 15-year-old singer/songwriter, Emma Cutajar from Malta’s Got Talent. Many of us cried our eyes out as she sang the heart-wrenching lyrics she had written herself. A couple of hit songs later, Malta’s very own Taylor Swift has teamed up with hip hop star Ben Miller on a brand new single Highs n’ Lows.
The collaboration between Maltese artists Ben Miller and Emma Cutajar, ‘Highs n’ Lows’ has recently been released on all music streaming platforms.
Having written and produced the song together, Ben and Emma have managed to find a way to make their first collaboration work for both of their singing styles.
Ben is no stranger to collaborations. In fact, he recently teamed up with Martha Micallef Attard for the second time on a single called ‘Hide and Seek‘. This is Emma’s first time collaborating with another artist after previously releasing ‘I Miss You’ and ‘Mad At Myself’ during her first year in the industry, shortly after being awarded the ‘Golden Buzzer’ during the first edition of Malta’s Got Talent.
‘Highs n’ Lows’ describes situations all of us go through at some point in life. The highs and lows of every situation, particularly those of a breakup. Anyone can relate to this new release.
Speaking about this release, Ben said that “it has been a pleasure to work with a talented singer/songwriter like Emma” and he had very positive comments about the qualities of her songwriting and her vocals at such a young age. On the other hand, Emma, described this experience as a very fruitful one; “I learned a lot of new things thanks to this opportunity of working with Ben and am very grateful for his patience and support throughout this journey.”
