Join in on celebrations of the 100 year anniversary of the The Walt Disney Company, with a special engagement of classic films returning to all cinemas. So make your way to Eden Cinemas (St. Julians), Embassy Cinemas (Valletta), or Galleria Cinemas (Fgura) to celebrate the company that has been spreading magic all these years.
Celebrate the work of Walt Disney; the company that changed the way we see film and gave us millions of memories, monumental songs, scenes that will live in our hearts forever, and characters that we fell in love with at first glance.
It all started with 24 hand-drawn and coloured images for each second of screen time…and with a mouse. This is a company whose mission was always to entertain, inspire, and encourage people to dream. And it’s been doing this for a solid 100 years.
Now, 100 years later, a selection of Disney favourites will be returning to the big screen for a limited time only – up until October.
The celebrations kicked off earlier this month with Disney’s first feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). If you’ve missed out on this classic, don’t worry; there’s so much more awaiting you: Bambi, Cinderella, Peter Pan, One Hundred and One Dalmations, The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, The Princess and The Frog, and Frozen.
Take a magical flight with Peter Pan, and land in 1950s London to revisit the timeless story of One Hundred and One Dalmations. Then, go look for “the bare necessities” as you journey with Mowgli through the jungle, and don’t miss out on your chance to hear Angela Lansbury’s glorious voice in cinemas for Tale as Old as Time.
Go to infinity and beyond to see where Woody’s story started, and after that get a taste of the iconic New Orleans atmosphere with the ultimate hardworker Tiana. And Frozen? Who can ever get enough of the bond between these two sisters? So “let it go” and go enjoy the snowy atmosphere of Arendelle on the big screen.
With nostalgia and great life lessons combined, leave it up to Disney to bring you back to childhood as well as boost you up for the future.

Bambi is currently being showcased in cinemas until Thursday. Disney princess classic Cinderella will follow from Friday. Tickets are available at a special price of just €4.50 per child and €5 per adult. Get them while they last as screenings won’t be available for long!
