Dylan Debono and the Crafty Cats at Wild Honey

Date: Friday 10 November

First off, prepare for captivating songs and moving performances by Dylan Debono and the Crafty Cats at Wild Honey in Valletta. Dylan Debono is a singer-songwriter, whose music mainly falls in the subgenres of Pop. In 2018, he competed in X Factor Malta, he was also part of a musical duo called Royals at the time. After they split in 2019, he spent the next two years working on a solo project; an ambitious, dark, thematic pop concept album. Drawing heavily from minimalism, new-wave Hip-Hop and Pop and R&B from the 1970s and 1980s, Dylan released his album ‘Loose Wire’ in November of last year. Dylan will be accompanied by the Crafty Cats band for this gigs.

Native Band at the Thirsty Barber

Next, get ready for the musical stylings of local classic rock cover band, Native, at the Thirsty Barber once again. This four-man band has been performing gigs all around Malta for years, and they always put on a show to remember! Over the years, they developed a unique sound, but still made sure to stick to the fundamentals of rock. Attendees can expect incredible renditions of hits from such iconic rock bands as ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers’, ‘Bon Jovi’, ‘G&R’, ‘White Snake’, ‘Bryan Adams’, and many more! Between the infectious guitar riffs and the explosive drumming, you’ll be popping your head in no time.

Kribbż at The Thirsty Barber

Time: 9 PMThen, enjoy a charming, jivy performance from Kribbż at The Thirsty Barber, St. Julian’s. Kribbż is a five-man band who play a variety of musical genres ranging from pop to jazz. The group is composed of Jake Cassar (vocalist), Mikhail Farrugia (Bassist), Thomas Valletta (Drummer), Juergen Valletta (Keyboardist), and Julian Azzopardi (Saxophonist). The members formed their band after meeting at the St Aloysius College, where they recently revisited to perform at the back-to-school event.

Krejon at Storeroom

Date: Saturday 11 November

Time: 9 PM

The Maltese instrumental group Krejon, who just released their debut EP ‘Klorophyll’ are set to perform at Storeroom in Ta’ Xbiex for the first time. The band’s music is very experimental, as a result of combining each member’s ideas and inspirations, but somehow it works. Despite the lack of vocals, the music is captivating and tells a story nonetheless.  Due to limited capacity, Storeroom is charging an admission fee of €7 for this gig. To book a spot, visit here.

Memphis Mac at Wild Honey

If you’ve been itching to hear some authentic blues, thunderous riffs and pulsating rhythms, then check out Memphis Mac at Wild Honey! This four-piece rock n’ roll band is made up of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Cameron Gray, lead guitarist Andreas Micallef, drummer Erin Portelli, and bassist Luca Grima. The band draws inspiration from the music and style of the 1960s and 1970s, the era when rock ‘n’ roll thrived, and their songs, style, and attitude all reflect this impact. Memphis Mac began doing gigs in 2019, and soon after that, the band started to gain recognition on the island, even landing a tour in London and Liverpool.
