Thrifting Extravaganza at Tigullio this weekend

This Sunday, November 19, head to Tigullio in St Julian’s for Free-Thrifty, a lively and welcoming monthly thrift market. Organised by Clothing for All, in collaboration with CSR Malta Association and Busybeecraftsbbc, the event promises affordable clothing, engaging workshops, a group of top of the line DJs to set the mood, and some more fun activities you won’t want to miss out on.

Groove Thrifts will serve as the focal point of the swap store, which will be situated in the Rocky Valley area, Tigullio. They’re bringing their amazing selection for attendees to peruse and exchange, allowing them to update their style while experiencing the excitement of discovering one-of-a-kind finds. Moreover, The Riddle Club are coming back, bringing both music and a lively atmosphere with them. 

The fashion expert Sheila of Busybeecraftsbbc will also be returning for the event, available for all those who need repairs or simply wish to glam up their clothes. What’s more she’s also giving a talk where she’ll be providing interesting discussions and insights into the fashion, sustainability, and style transformation industries. It’s a chance to learn about upcycling, pimping, and clothes repair from one of the greats! You’ll acquire new skills, take the knowledge home with you and finally make all those changes you’ve been meaning to make to your wardrobe. You might even learn how to make your own pieces! 

Furthermore, the local voluntary organisation CSR Malta Association’s will be holding a free English lesson, courtesy of Avatar English.
