The International Christmas Fair to return with over 50 stalls this weekend

The International Christmas Fair will be back at the Intercontinental Hotel this Sunday, November 19. The event will last from 10 am to 5 pm, enjoy a jam-packed day of dancing, music, games, and cultural exchange!
Take your pick from over 50 vendors “representing more than 20 different nationalities”, including Egypt, Germany, and Canada. From boutique products to homemade treats, get it all on a bargain and do your Christmas shopping early while you’re at it. Savour some delicious food and a few beverages and in the tranquil sitting area. Try your luck on the instant win tables and don’t forget to purchase lottery tickets; Think you can guess the weight of a cake and the number of corks on a table, just by looking at them? Plus, this year’s prizes are supposedly really great! In the meantime, kids can enjoy the brand-new children’s area, where Santa will be ready to welcome them!
Workshops
Moreover, there will be some adults for workshops for adults and children alike this year, with all tools and materials provided. First off is the Bulgarian crafts class for adults and children, being hosted by Arts and Crafts Malta. Learn about the rich traditions of Bulgaria while making your own Kukeri mask. The workshops will be held from 10 am to 11 pm for the price of €12. Advance bookings are required, you can book your spot here and find more information here.
The Mosaic workshop for adults ‘Decorate a Letter’ is hosted by Heidi & Tina’s Mosaic, and is open to those aged 16 and up. Within thirty minutes, guests will be able to use upcycled and repurposed materials, such broken cup pieces and jewellery pieces, to create a personalised 3D letter decoration. For your convenience, the pieces will be pre-cut and sanded. This is a fantastic concept for a handmade, personalised present! There will be two sessions held for this workshop, one from 12 pm to 12.30 pm, and one from 2 pm to 2.30 pm. To reserve your place go here, it costs €15 each. More information can be found here.
The third and final workshop is called ‘The Art of Being Present’, hosted by Journaling & Art therapy in Malta. For this workshop, participants will examine the benefits of being aware of their emotions and practising present-moment awareness. Learn new techniques for self-expression and self-connection by joining Luisa for a healing writing workshop. This one is actually free of charge, although it is only open to people aged 15 and over. This event is being hosted by the Association of International Women (AIW) in Malta in aid of a worthy cause. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Fondazzjoni Sebħ, an NGO that houses children and domestic violence survivors, along with other care services.
