4Teenth Productions’ ‘L-Avukat Infernali’ Kicks Off Tonight
Performances will run on Thursday, 31 October, and Friday, 1 November, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, with shows starting every half hour.
Known for their ability to create an emotional bridge between audience and narrative, 4Teenth Productions is widely celebrated for its annual Good Friday performances. These deeply moving presentations take place in the historic World War II shelter in Qormi, where the story of Jesus Christ is brought to life in a way that has become central to the group’s work.
This Halloween, however, 4Teenth Productions is taking a fresh leap, embracing the spirit of the season with a satirical twist. As the leaves change and October winds begin to howl, this same shelter will transform into a sinister yet humorous gateway, leading audiences through the corridors of hell. In ‘L-Avukat Infernali’, familiar faces from the worlds of politics, history, and television will resurface, showing not only what became of them but also how they’re spending their time in the underworld. This one-of-a-kind production blends eerie tension with a playful spirit, all while preserving the magic and mystery that make this season special.
In collaboration with the Ħal Qormi Local Council and Kumitat Festi Esterni San Ġorġ Martri, this 20-minute immersive experience will be held just a short walk from the Church of St George in Qormi.
Under the direction of Alan Attard and written by Marianna Calleja, ‘L-Avukat Infernali’ is set to captivate audiences. The public is encouraged to reserve their spot by contacting the production team via social media message, email at pr.4teenth@gmail.com, or by calling 79093503.
As a volunteer theatre group founded nearly eleven years ago by fourteen individuals, 4Teenth Productions remains devoted to delivering unique messages through the art form closest to their hearts.
