Luke Chappell releases brand new single hold on after signing with American sony music
X Factor finalist releases his brand new single ‘Hold On’ with American Sony Music
The 18 year old heart throb released his brand new single ‘Hold On’ with American Sony Music earlier today.
The single is described as a “a beautiful melodic and yet haunting song that reflects on what it seems to be a romantic yet hurtful experience when falling in-love and holding onto the memory of person”.
Luke Chappell said, “I posted a Tik Tok video of me singing this song and a record deal was sent to me shortly after my success with Lonely Again and now I’m blessed enough to be here.”
Luke Chappell made it all the way to the semi finals of Malta’s first season of X Factor but was eliminated during a sing-off with Owen Luellen and therefore finished in the 5th place.
This didn’t stop Luke Chappell form working on his music career and has since launched multiple hit singles; his debut single ‘Head in the Clouds’ followed by ‘Human’, which dominated all local radio stations.
In 2020, he went on to release ‘Lonely Again’, which made him the first local artist to surpass six million streams.
He is now signed to Sony for the next five years. The musician is set to release more music in the upcoming months as he works with Insynk Collective Studios and is set to announce a project later on next year.
