Private Vehicles Banned Near Ta’ Qali for Pitbull Concert as Shuttle Service Introduced

Private vehicles will be barred from the immediate vicinity of Ta’ Qali when Pitbull performs on 2 August, with organisers introducing a shuttle service from eight locations across Malta as part of a traffic management plan aimed at easing congestion and improving access to the concert venue.

Private vehicles will not be allowed near the Ta’ Qali concert venue when Pitbull performs on 2 August, with organisers introducing an shuttle service as part of a traffic management plan for the event.

Under the plan, only a limited number of authorised vehicles will be permitted to access the immediate vicinity of Ta’ Qali. Taxi and Y-Plate drop-off points will be located around a 20-minute walk from the concert entrance.

Concertgoers using the official shuttle service, operated by Quadron Plus, will have access to a dedicated route allowing buses to stop significantly closer to the venue.

The return shuttle service costs €15 and will operate from eight locations across Malta: Paola, Floriana, Pembroke, St Paul’s Bay, Ħal Far, Ċirkewwa, Rabat and Msida.

All buses will depart at 5pm on 2 August, with return services leaving at midnight after the concert ends.

Organisers urged attendees to plan their journey in advance and make use of the shuttle service, describing it as the most efficient way to reach the venue given the traffic restrictions that will be in force.
